The Shoals Tennessee RiverTown's program is excited to kick off the 2021 summer paddle and river stewardship series. Join us at Joe Wheeler Park to learn about the Tennessee RiverLine, the history of Wheeler Lake, TVA and the state park and for a paddle on First Creek. We will explore the shoreline of First Creek, watch for birds, and enjoy an easy, all levels paddle. Don't have your own kayak? That's ok! Reserve a kayak - either a single or a two person - when you register (comes with required equipment and PFD). You are also welcome to bring your own boat (kayak or canoes are fine) - just select the "I've got my own boat" option when you register.
Please make sure to check your email ahead of the event. You will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite, as well as a pre-event survey to complete before you come paddle with us. Any changes to the paddle due to weather will also be communicated via email.
