This is a free leisurely and educational event where participants will explore nature. The kayaking adventure will take off from Patterson’s Point Boat Ramp with paddlers exploring Kentucky Lake near Fort Heiman.

Participants can register for a tandem or single kayak. There is a limited supply of kayaks and spots fill up fast. Also, those with their own kayaks are invited to participate, but registration is also required.

All participants must be able to swim. PFD's must be worn at all times while on the water. PFD's will be provided for those utilizing one of our kayaks. If you bring your own kayak you must bring your own PFD. Comfort on the water and basic kayak experience is requested.

On-site check in will be from 8:30am - 8:50am on November 2nd; look for the check in table in the parking area. At 9:00am there will be a welcome and safety briefing followed by our launch. The entire event will end no later than Noon.
