Shoals RiverTown Community Paddle - RESCHEDULED

  • Waterloo Boat Ramp (map)

The Shoals Tennessee RiverTown's program is ready for another 2021 summer paddle. Join us in Waterloo at the boat ramp on Second Creek to learn about the Tennessee RiverLine, the history of Pickwick Lake, and the Trail of Tears and for a paddle on Second Creek and along where the creek connects to the Tennessee River. We will explore the shoreline of Second Creek, watch for birds, and enjoy an easy, all levels paddle. Don't have your own kayak? That's ok! Reserve a kayak - either a single or a two person - when you register (comes with required equipment and PFD). You are also welcome to bring your own boat (kayak or canoes are fine) - just select the "I've got my own boat" option when you register.

NOTE: IF YOU REGISTER AND CAN'T ATTEND, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION - NOT DOING SO TAKE A SPOT AWAY FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

Please make sure to check your email ahead of the event. You will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite, as well as a pre-event survey to complete before you come paddle with us. Any changes to the paddle due to weather will also be communicated via email.

See you outside!!
