Kids in Kayaks is a three-part series that will take place on October 17, 18, and 21 at McFarland and Colbert County Alloys Parks. The program will serve youth ages 11-13 from MSNHA program partner, Common Ground Shoals, introducing the river and kayaking to participants, with an emphasis on safety and skill development in a low pressure environment. Youth participants will build upon their skills each day, through different water activities, including a 1-mile scenic paddle out of Alloys Park on the final day.
