The Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries' and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area is bringing the Go Fish, Alabama! program to the Shoals! Participants will the opportunity to fish under guidance and instruction of a skilled fishing mentor with all equipment provided at no cost. Participants will learn how to cast, information on regulations, safety, and ethics, and how to clean a fish, then have the opportunity to fish the remainder of the morning. This program is for adults and families interested in laerning how to fish, socializing outdoors with friends and family, putting fish on the dinner table, or simply enjoying the thrill and challenge of the catch. All participants between the ages of 16-65 must obtain a freshwater fishing license before participating.
