The KY Dam Paddle up is a family-friendly paddle event in partnership with the City of Calvert City and the Tennessee RiverLine. Registration begins September 17 with 12 kayaks available to reserve.

Bring a kayak, canoe, or any other worthy paddle craft for a trip from KY Dam Boat Ramp to Haddox Ferry.

Beginning at 8:00 AM, drop your kayaks off at the KY Dam Boat Ramp just below Kentucky Dam and take your vehicle to Haddox Ferry. A shuttle service provided by Pathway Baptist Church will shuttle you from Haddox Ferry back to your kayak at KY Dam Boat Ramp for a leisurely group paddle five miles downriver to Haddox Ferry. Expect to be on the water for two hours. Lunch will be provided via a voucher to local restaurants to all pre-registered paddlers.

For those who do not own a kayak but want to participate, 12 kayaks are available to reserve. The deadline to register is September 20. Bring your own, or use one of the rentals for this fun-filled event on the river.

Marshall County Rescue Squad will be on-site floating alongside the group. All paddlers are required to wear a life jacket and know how to swim. A brief safety course will be held before the launch of the group.
