This event at Bridgeport Ferry Dock, will feature talks from Civil War re-enactors, local historians, and National Park staff from Little River Canyon National Preserve and Russell Cave National Monument. These talks will be followed by a guided group paddle to show students the historic bridge and 19th century steamboat construction site. Food, music, kayak instruction, and gear will be provided for attending middle schoolers.
