Join us for the fourth of five FREE paddling events hosted by Tennessee RiverLine: Paducah-McCracken County on Saturday, September 17.
Registration opens 10 days prior to each event, and participants can register for a tandem or single kayak by calling the Paducah Parks & Recreation Department at 270-444-8508 or visiting www.paducahky.gov/registration. Please note there is a limited supply of kayaks. Also, those with their own kayaks are invited to participate, but registration is required so that adequate transportation can be provided.
Those reserving a kayak from the Tennessee RiverLine fleet will meet at the foot of Broadway by 9 a.m. Transportation will be available to take the participants to Clarks River Landing to begin the journey. Participants who are bringing their own kayaks should drop their boats at Clarks River Landing by 8:30 a.m. and then drive to the Foot of Broadway to meet the group. Tennessee RiverLine representatives will watch the kayaks.
The kayak adventure will take off from Clarks River Landing with paddlers enjoying the Clarks River and Tennessee River and end at the Foot of Broadway.
The final free paddling event of the season is scheduled for October 15.
