Tennessee RiverLine Hosts 652 to YOU Events in Pilot Communities
In July, the Tennessee RiverLine Partnership traveled to Benton County, TN, The Shoals, AL, and Roane County, TN, to host its 652 to YOU Pilot Community programming. With the support of planning teams in each community, members of the Partnership toured the river and existing river access points, conducted a workshop with community leaders, and hosted a public engagement event for residents to learn more about the Tennessee RiverLine vision and offer their own feedback and ideas. Each visit afforded us an opportunity to better understand the places, people and stories that make each community unique, and the river that we all share.
