The Tennessee RiverLine team invites residents, neighbors and friends of its 2019 Pilot Communities to participate in community engagement events this summer to help define next steps for North America’s next great regional trail system.

All residents of Benton County, TN, Roane County, TN, The Shoals, AL, Bridgeport, AL, Paducah/McCracken County, KY, and surrounding areas are invited to come listen, learn, give input and help shape the vision for the Tennessee RiverLine in their communities.

The community engagement event series, called Tennessee RiverLine 652 to YOU, allows residents, neighbors and friends of Pilot Communities to provide feedback and ideas through various interactive activities on the Tennessee RiverLine project. See full list of dates and register for 652 to YOU here.

While in the Pilot Communities, the Tennessee RiverLine team will also tour the areas, meet with community leaders and advocates, and host river experiences, such as riverfront clean-ups and paddling/boating trips.

Tennessee River Valley residents and friends who are unable to attend the 652 to YOU events and those who live outside of the Pilot Communities can provide feedback and ideas on the vision for the Tennessee RiverLine using an interactive survey, called RiverGauge.

Learn more, and take the survey.

652 to YOU and RiverGauge are initiatives of the Tennessee RiverLine Pilot Community Program, a program to bring expertise, ideas and insight from communities into the ongoing development of the Tennessee RiverLine. In May, the Tennessee RiverLine team announced five 2019 Pilot Communities, including Benton County, TN; Bridgeport, AL; The Shoals, AL (Florence-Muscle Shoals MSA); and Paducah/McCracken County, KY.
