Benchmark(s):
Organize one or more public recreation/leisure activities on the Tennessee River each year
Organize one or more stewardship activities along the Tennessee River each year
Benchmark Details:
To satisfy this benchmark, each communities Recreation / Leisure and Stewardship event must:
Promote your program as an official Tennessee RiverLine event and include the Tennessee RiverLine/Tennessee RiverTowns Program in promotional materials;
Share an overview of your community’s participation in the Tennessee RiverTowns Program with participants;
Use Tennessee RiverLine branded materials available to your community (tent, banner, and printed materials);
Offer an orientation session that covers necessary safety and risk management considerations;
Take photos of your event to be shared and used in Tennessee RiveLine marketing and promotional materials
Reporting:
Pre-Event Form: Event details should be submitted 4 weeks prior to event
Post-Event Form: After your event we will capture some basic data that helps us quantify all the incredible community work throughout the region!
Event Photographs: Share your favorite shots with Tennessee RiverLine staff through the google drive.
Note: Participants pictured on water should be wearing Personal Floatation Devices.
